RARE Bobby Veach Detroit Tigers Signed 1925 American League Baseball JSA COA

Presented is an official American League B. Bancroft “Ban” Johnson baseball signed by former Detroit Tigers outfielder Bobby Veach. Veach, a career .370 hitter from 1912 to 1925, has penned his flowing signature in black steel-tip fountain pen ink across the panel adjacent to the baseball’s sweet spot. The baseball, which exhibits a heavy circulated manner of appearance consistent with a ball nearly a century old, comes with an LOA from JSA (X00647) for signature. The experts at JSA notes “an unexplained abrasion on the west panel with ink remnants suggests signature removals.”
