2007 New York Giants Super Bowl Champs Team Signed Full Size Helmet Steiner COA

On paper, Super Bowl XLII was the biggest mismatch in history, with the undefeated New England Patriots facing off against the NFC Wild Card New York Giants. As 12-point favorites, the Patriots were expected to win easily and surpass the 1972 Miami Dolphins 17-win undefeated record with 19 wins. Eli Manning and company had other plans, executing one of the most incredible Super Bowl drives of all time to eke out a 17-14 victory. The most enduring play from this Super Bowl was the inconceivable David Tyree helmet catch. After Manning had eluded a would-be sack, he threw the ball downfield to Tyree, who pinned the pass against his helmet as he fell to the ground to keep the game-winning drive alive. Manning was awarded MVP for his efforts, which included a very uncharacteristic scramble and evasion on the Tyree play.
