Oklahoma State University – Gallagher-Iba Arena
This panorama of Gallagher-Iba Arena, taken by James Blakeway, captures the excitement of the Oklahoma State University Cowboys basketball team playing on their home court. Originally completed in 1938, Gallagher Hall was named to honor wrestling coach Ed Gallagher. After renovations in 1987, it was renamed Gallagher-Iba Arena, in honor of former basketball coach and innovator Henry Iba. The original white maple floor remains the oldest basketball court currently in use. Nicknamed the “Madison Square Garden of the Plains,” the arena seats 13,611 fans. Established in 1890, the University enrolls over 20,000 students on its Stillwater, Oklahoma campus.
Bring your wall alive with the thrill and excitement of Cowboys game night on campus! A spectacular, rare print you’ll likely never see in stores. Shot during the closing seconds of the February 13, 2010 “Bedlam” game against the cross-state rivals from University of Oklahoma, this print captures the excitement of a sea of orange witnessing a big-time Sooners beatdown. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector’s item for years to come.
